Booking.
To book your natural family photoshoot get in contact below or feel free to call me on 0433 607 975. For newborn shoots I recommend booking in your second trimester to avoid disappointment as I only take on one booking per week.
Photoshoot.
I will create lots of fun filled moments with you and your family to capture natural and emotive moments. Your shoot will go for approximately 1.5 hours for a family shoot and between 2-4 hours for a newborn shoot. In this time I will capture lots of combinations to tell the story of your family.
Online Gallery.
About a week after your photoshoot I will send you an online gallery which will be available for viewing for 2 weeks.
It’s Ready.
Your digital photographs and artwork will be shipped within 2 weeks after your order has been submitted.
What to expect …
A little bit about my family sessions….
I like to think of my sessions as family fun time with your kids. So instead of akward structured posing i create lots of activities and games for your little ones during the photoshoot so they don’t feel like they’re having their photo taken. Over the past 15 years i have learnt many tips and tricks to keep kids of all ages entertained (especially toddlers). During your photoshoot i will do lots of different combinations including everyone together, individuals of kids, Mum with kids, Dad with kids and parents on their own.
Location, Location, Location
I have many locations in and around Brisbane that i photograph at regulary. These include beautiful parks and open fields which i know have gorgeous light.
Fun is not optional
This shoot will be full-on fun, complete with laughs, hugs, play time, and plenty of tickling. There’s no manufacturing a good time; when you’re with loved ones, exuberance and spontaneity take over for the most natural, exciting images.
Golden Hour
I recommend shooting during a very precise time of day, the last 90 mins before sunset or early morning. This special window known as “The Golden Hour” creates a flattering glow and shimmer for picture perfect
Time Flies
Please allow one and a half hours for our shoot. This will enable me to get the perfect amount of images with variety and allow for an outfit change if needed.
Newborn Session…
A little information about my newborn shoots...
Since having a baby of my own i realised how hard it is to get out of the house in those first couple of weeks, let alone have a shower! So for your session i come to your home where all of your memories from this time are being made. I’ll bring along some beautiful wraps, beanies and props to create something amazing. The session takes approximately 2-4 hours which allows for plenty of time for settling and feeding.
Picking a date
We all know that the arrival of a baby is very unpredictable. I recommend booking your newborn session 7- 10 days from your estimated due date. I then get you to contact me when bub arrives and move your shoot accordingly.
Best time to book
The first 7-10 days is the best time for those sleepy newborn photos. At this age bub is still used to being curled up inside you so they prefer being wrapped. At the 2 week mark bub becomes significantly more alert and realises they have hands and feet and won’t stop moving them!
Time Flies
During your shoot i will do a combination of looks including everyone together, Mum and bub, Dad and bub and then 50% of the shoot of bub on their own.
Feeding
I recommend avoiding any spicy foods and caffeine the day before your shoot as this can sometimes make your bub a little unsettled. Hot tip: Try and feed bub one hour before your session so that they are ultra sleepy.
Ps. I am vaccinated against covid and everything else… including whooping cough.
Pricing
What’s a session fee?
If this is the first time you have looked into professional photography you might be a bit confused and asking yourself ‘what’s a session fee’?
To secure your photoshoot you pay a session fee at the time of booking. This fee covers my time during the photoshoot, the time spent on editing the photos and reflects the 15 years of experience (15 years full time in the industry!)…i feel old. The years of experience and qualifications ensures you’re guaranteed optimal quality for every photo i provide.
The session fee doesn’t include any photographs.
About a week after your photoshoot i will send you an online gallery where you will view all of the best photos from your photoshoot. From there you can select which products/packages you would like to purchase.
Session Fee’s
Maternity
$50 weekday photoshoot
$150 weekend photoshoot
On location or in home, a maternity session takes approximately 1 hour. Feel free to bring along a couple of outfit changes.
I recommend booking in your maternity shoot for when you are around 32-35weeks. At this stage your bump will be very noticeable and you will still be comfortable enough to move around.
Newborn
$150 weekday photshoot
$250 weekend photoshoot
I come to you! In home newborn sessions take approximately 2-4 hours which allows for plenty of time for settling and feeding. In this time I will capture photos of everyone together, bub and Dad, Mum and bub, sibling/s and bub and lastly bub on their own.
Please book in your second trimester to avoid disappointment as i only take on one newborn shoot a week.
Family
$50 weekday photshoot
$150 weekend photoshoot
On location or in home, a family session takes approximately 1 - 1.5 hours. In this time I will capture photos of everyone together, siblings and parents. Feel free bring along the Grandparents to make it a generation shoot.

What to do with your favourite photos…
About a week after your photoshoot you will view your beautiful photos through an online gallery and choose a package/products that you love and a payment option that suites you best. Digital collections start from $850 and printed artwork from $110. Click below for my full pricelist and packages.
